Self Catering Accommodation

Ashley House has been completely refurbished for 2017: it is fully double-glazed with central heating and offers free Wi-fi. There is a well equipped kitchen with double electric ovens, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher and a washing machine and tumbler drier in the utility room. The lounge diner has a smart TV, wood-burning stove and French windows leading into the garden, equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue for the Summer. There are 3 bedrooms – one with twin beds, one with a king size bed and one with a standard double bed – a family bathroom with free-standing bath and separate shower unit, and also a shower room/WC on the ground floor.

A travel cot and a high chair are available on request – please reserve these at the time of booking. There is unrestricted parking on the road outside.

Bed linen is included in the rental cost but guests should bring their own towels and bedding for the cot. All electricity and central heating is included in the rental cost; the log burning stove will be laid for your use with a complimentary basket of logs.

Ashley House is owner maintained and the owner lives in the village and is on hand to help with any queries. The property is strictly no smoking. Pets are permitted at an additional charge but must not be allowed upstairs.

Our normal changeover days in the low season are Fridays and Mondays but please contact us directly if either of these days are not convenient as we try to be as flexible as possible. During the main holiday season we offer weekly lets with a Friday changeover but short breaks may be booked 2 weeks in advance of the stay – please contact us directly to arrange this.

Please note: typical of many village cottages the neighbouring property need to bring their dustbins through the garden to the street and back again, once a week. Pets using the garden must be supervised by their owners at all times.
